Kicking things off, Magenta Living is preparing a £40m Planned Investment Works Framework over a 48-month term. Covering everything from energy efficiency and roofing to full-house refurbishments, this framework is structured into 11 lots and includes a “Meet the Buyer” event scheduled for June 2025, ahead of the April 2026 launch. Building momentum, Clarion Housing Group is engaging with the market for a £25.5m contract to design and construct 126 social rent apartments in Chester. The 21-month scheme includes car parking, landscaping, and a modern six-storey block. 

Gearing up for renewal, Hillingdon London Borough will soon tender a £17m Multi-Lot Window Replacement Programme, spanning 36 months. This initiative will recruit multiple suppliers to manage the borough’s long-term upgrade efforts. Setting the bar for responsive maintenance, Sanctuary Housing has unveiled plans for a £16.4m, 36-month contract across the North West, West Midlands, and Yorkshire. The works include emergency repairs, void management, disrepair remediation, and damp & mould interventions.

Advancing retrofit ambitions, Cornwall Council is preparing a £3.43m, 31-month contract to deliver energy efficiency upgrades across Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. Backed by the Warm Homes Local Grant, the contract will go live by August 2025. Ramping up heating resilience, Town & Country Housing Group will launch a £20m, 60-month heating service and maintenance contract covering 13,000 homes. This major opportunity will be split into lots addressing domestic gas, renewables, commercial systems, and oil-based heating.

Commanding centre stage, Sovereign Network Group is leading one of the sector’s most diverse pipelines, with over £216m in planned opportunities. Highlights include an £80m fire safety framework (96 months), £25m communal and window cleaning (84 months), and £22m in lift refurbishments (60 months). Additional notices feature £18.9m roofing works, £9m lift maintenance, and frameworks for consultancy (£8m), electrical services (£8m), asbestos testing (£5m), and water hygiene monitoring (£2.4m) – each with varied durations between 36 and 96 months.

Turning up the security dial, Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council (BCP) is assembling a £5.6m, 36-month multi-lot Security Services Framework. Covering event security, housing protection, manned guarding, and traveller site management. Laying foundations for new homes, BPHA has announced two development schemes. The first is a £6.25m project for 28 homes in Upwood over 16 months. The second, a £3.75m scheme in Milton Keynes, will deliver 25 flats with dedicated communal and staff facilities across 24 months.

Prioritising safety and compliance, Oxford City Council is putting forward a £5m, 48-month contract for asbestos removal and surveying. This long-term framework offers scope for specialist environmental contractors. Bringing innovation to build, Midlothian Council has published a £11m, 20-month contract to deliver 47 homes using 2D offsite fabrication in Penicuik. The project follows a two-stage process with an initial pre-construction services phase followed by full design-and-build delivery. Rounding off the batch, The Highland Council has issued a tender worth £1.42m to construct four new homes at Handa Terrace over an 8-month period. The contract includes drainage, external works, and site infrastructure.
