Contractors can bid for groundworks, roofing, thermal improvements, electrical works, kitchen and bathroom installations, drainage, asbestos removal, security services, heating systems, and environmental cleans. Meanwhile, Barcud has opened a £1.5m Voids Refurbishment and Kitchens & Bathrooms Framework, covering essential void property renovations, kitchen and bathroom installations, flooring replacements, and redecoration works in Ceredigion and Powys over a 24-month term.
For heating and building services, Efficiency East Midlands Ltd (EEM) is procuring an £850m Heating and Hot Water Systems Framework, which will cover the supply, installation, servicing, and emergency repairs of boilers, radiators, heat pumps, and central heating systems in social housing properties across UK over the next four years. Additionally, the Waltham Forest London Borough has announced a £15m Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Services contract, which includes HVAC maintenance, electrical safety inspections, compliance testing, fire alarm servicing, and plumbing repairs for housing stock over the next 42 months.
Further opportunities include a £5m Electrical Repairs Framework from Leicester City Council for domestic and non-domestic properties covering electrical maintenance, rewiring, fire detection system installations, and periodic safety inspections across Leicester. Running from June 2025 to June 2028, with a possible two-year extension until 2030, this contract offers long-term opportunities for approved electrical contractors. Newham London Borough has launched a £30m Security Services Provision Framework, offering contracts for CCTV monitoring, manned guarding, mobile patrols, and major incident response across social housing estates. The framework includes static security, event management, multi-skilled mobile security (CCTV operation, emergency response), and ad-hoc security services, such as foot patrols, vehicle patrols, and dog handling. Additionally, ProcurePublic Limited, on behalf of Central & Cecil Housing Trust, has launched a £90m Demolition Services & Site Enabling Works Framework. It covers structural demolition, asbestos removal, hazardous waste disposal, site clearance, excavation, and land preparation for public sector projects.
