Contract Tenders: 01/07/2025
UK housing tenders: £1bn South Kilburn regeneration partner, door access maintenance, communal cleaning services, and water hygiene frameworks shaping opportunities nationwide.
Taking centre stage in London’s regeneration ambitions, Brent London Borough has launched a landmark £1bn procurement for a single delivery partner to drive the next phases of the South Kilburn Regeneration Programme. Set across a potential 20-year tenure (initially 10 years with options to extend), the delivery partner will be tasked with creating at least 1,600 new mixed-tenure homes, alongside community facilities, commercial spaces, and public realm enhancements. Brent has shaped this opportunity following a major market engagement to ensure its contract structure meets both viability and social impact goals.
Elevating safety and security for thousands of residents, Hillingdon London Borough has issued a £1.5m contract notice to appoint a specialist provider for servicing and maintenance of door entry systems, access controls, warden call systems, and automatic gates and barriers. Spanning an initial 36 months with options to extend by two years, the agreement covers over 10,000 homes and 200 corporate sites, providing 24/7 reactive and planned maintenance services to maintain compliance and user safety.
Focusing on hygiene and presentation standards, Radius Housing in Northern Ireland is seeking a contractor for a £6.6m agreement to deliver cleaning services for communal areas, waste management, office spaces, and ad hoc cleans across its residential portfolio. Running over a 36-month period, the contract will prioritise consistent service frequencies and quality across a wide asset base, with a price-to-quality weighting that rewards value-driven delivery.
Meanwhile, Swindon Borough Council has published a preliminary market engagement notice (PME) valued at £2m for Water Hygiene Quality Monitoring Services. Over a planned 36-month term, the future contract will cover monitoring, legionella risk assessments, and remedial works across approximately 200 sites, including an outdoor education centre in Wales. Swindon is seeking market insight through a supplier questionnaire to shape its commercial model, route to market, and contract length before launching a formal tender process later this year.
