Unlocking major investment in repairs and maintenance, Portsmouth City Council has announced a Pipeline Notice for a £450m, 10-year opportunity split across two geographically defined contracts for responsive maintenance and capital repairs. Covering both “on-island” and “off-island” assets, the contract spans residential and commercial properties and seeks high-performing contractors who can deliver value-for-money services aligned with the council’s strategic objectives. Setting the benchmark for long-term asset care, Moat is tendering a massive £420m, 15-year Property Repairs and Maintenance contract across its residential estate in the East and South East of England. The appointed provider will handle responsive repairs, void property works, and potentially cyclical redecoration, building safety maintenance, and access control. Performance-driven KPIs—such as right-first-time repairs and satisfaction ratings—will define contract success, underpinned by a TAC-1 and FAC-1 strategic alliance model.

Reinforcing supplier readiness, Platform Housing Limited is seeking expressions of interest through a Pipeline Notice to shape its future contractor landscape for responsive repairs, void management, damp and mould treatment, and fire risk works. With full tender documentation expected by winter 2025/26, this early engagement opens the door for contractors to become key players in a wide-reaching housing maintenance strategy. Reimagining alarm monitoring, it is also preparing for procurement of a new call alarm monitoring service covering both hardwired and dispersed systems. The contract will span multiple regions and aims to enhance service continuity and safety across its housing stock.

Revitalising home infrastructure, Tollcross Housing Association Ltd. is launching a £600k framework over four years for window and door replacements. Starting in September 2025, the framework will see early work awarded to the most economically advantageous tenderer, with a focus on cost-efficiency and quality delivery. Keeping vital infrastructure safe, Derbyshire County Council has issued a £850k tender for the servicing of gas and electric catering appliances and ventilation systems across its properties. Covering a wide array of premises including schools and residential homes, the contract ensures annual compliance checks and urgent response support, with submissions due by 23 May 2025.

Driving electrical safety compliance, Anchor Hanover Group is commissioning a £26.38m, 5-year framework for EICR inspections and remedial works. Divided into four regional lots, this contract will ensure full regulatory compliance across England through well-managed inspection, reporting, and repair services. Powering efficient repairs, Aberdeenshire Council is seeking contractors for a £17m, 2-year Housing Reactive Repairs – Electrical Works contract. Spread across nine geographic lots, the contract requires rapid-response electrical services to housing stock, with performance extensions of up to two additional years available.

Transforming homes inside and out, Easthall Park Housing Association is tendering a £1.1m, 6-month contract for veranda replacements and kitchen upgrades in 42 flats. Starting in September 2025, the works include door and window replacements, plumbing, electrics, and ventilation improvements. Launching the first phase of a major regeneration, Moray Council is inviting interest for construction of 28 new homes and shared infrastructure in Elgin as part of the Bilbohall Masterplan. With planning permission already granted and utility issues resolved, this PIN marks the beginning of an ambitious housing delivery programme designed to RIBA Stage 4.
