Shaping electrical safety and reliability, Blackpool Coastal Housing is seeking a partner for a £3.5m, 36-month Electrical Maintenance contract. This procurement spans responsive repairs, emergency call-outs, communal and emergency lighting maintenance, door entry systems, and landlord supply inspections. With a strong compliance focus, the contract also includes fixed-price condition reports for tenanted and void properties, creating a structured approach to housing stock safety and service continuity.

Expanding lift services, Great Places Housing Group has announced a £1.35m, 60-month Lift Maintenance & Repairs Service. Covering properties across the North West, Yorkshire and the Humber, East Midlands, and West Midlands, the contract will ensure planned preventative maintenance, responsive repairs, and 24/7 entrapment response for lifts across residential blocks, sheltered housing, and community facilities. This opportunity under the Procurement Act 2023 reinforces GPHG’s commitment to compliance, resident safety, and lifecycle efficiency.

On a shorter programme, Falkirk Council has launched a £1.2m, 4-month Electrical Installation Condition Report and Repairs contract. Running from October 2025 to February 2026, the works centre on producing EICR reports and carrying out remedial electrical works across occupied housing properties. With strict quality and price criteria, this is a focused compliance-driven procurement addressing urgent safety priorities.

Marking a significant development initiative, Woven (formerly Habinteg Housing Association Ulster) has unveiled a £30m, 36-month Competitive Land Design and Build Contract in West Belfast. The scheme will deliver 100–150 social housing units on a single site, requiring developers to provide land, design, and construction in line with the Department for Communities Housing Association Guide. This procurement represents a high-value opportunity for developers to support regeneration and long-term housing supply in Northern Ireland.
