Leading this month’s opportunities, Efficiency East Midlands (EEM) has launched its £166.67m Windows and Doors Framework covering nine English regions and Wales over a 48-month term. The framework will replace EEM’s current arrangement and provide both supply-only and supply-and-install services for UPVC windows, composite doors and associated fittings across domestic and commercial properties. The contract is structured into national and regional lots and is open to all EEM members and authorised public-sector users across housing, education, health and emergency services.

In Greater London, Home Group is preparing the re-procurement of its £33.33m Responsive Repairs and Voids Framework. Running for 60 months from October 2026, the contract will maintain approximately 5,600 homes through a JCT Measured Term Contract, covering emergency repairs, planned works and void refurbishments.

Enhancing fire safety compliance, City of York Council has issued a £1.4m Planned Maintenance of Fire Systems and Emergency Lighting contract for 36 months. The works will cover inspection, testing and replacement of fire safety systems across council-owned housing and public buildings throughout the region. Expanding safety and community support, Radius Housing in Northern Ireland has announced plans for a Security Services framework valued at up to £m-scale levels over 24 months. The contract will cover manned guarding, mobile patrols, ASB response, fire warden services, and void property inspections across general needs, supported and sheltered housing schemes.

Across the UK, YPO (Yorkshire Purchasing Organisation) has opened a refreshed FM Services – Building in Use Support DPS running until February 2029. Estimated to support billions in public-sector FM spending, the 125-month dynamic purchasing system covers hard FM, soft FM, security, waste management and reactive building support services for YPO members and affiliated organisations nationwide.

Supporting regional construction and local supply chains, Scottish Borders Council has issued a £25m Subcontractor Services Framework Agreement running for 48 months. This second-generation framework will enable the council and its trading organisation, SBc Contracts, to appoint multiple subcontractors across disciplines including civil engineering, groundworks, landscaping, fencing, scaffolding, and drainage. The framework includes community benefit commitments, encouraging local employment, apprenticeships, and support for community initiatives when contract spend exceeds £50k.

Strengthening social housing development in Northern Ireland, Woven (formerly Habinteg Housing Association Ulster Ltd) has launched a £6.5m Competitive Land Design and Build Contract within the NIHE area. The opportunity seeks land in Dungiven for a scheme of 25 to 40 units delivered on a single site. Developers are required to provide the land, design, construct and complete the new social housing scheme in line with the Department for Communities Housing Association Guide and all statutory body requirements. The contract carries a quality-to-price ratio of 60 to 40, with award decisions expected by January 2026.
