Basildon District Council-

Birmingham City Council-
Birmingham is investing over £1.5m in schools and housing infrastructure. Dodd Group was awarded boiler and heating system upgrades at Cherry Orchard and Colmers schools. The council also launched frameworks totaling £5.5m for drainage works and gas/electrical audits across 54,000 housing units.
Blackpool Borough Council-
Blackpool is replacing a deteriorating Brunswick Street staircase with a new steel structure. The council signed legal agreements with Smiles for Miles Ltd to ensure not just delivery, but long-term maintenance improving safety and accessibility in a heavily used part of town.
Bristol City Council-
Bristol has gone full throttle on property services, awarding a £60m Hard FM deal to Lorne Stewart while extending the current contract for a seamless handover. In parallel, Fantasy Flooring secured residential flooring works elevating council homes across the city in a coordinated facilities management push.
Camden London Borough-
Camden has launched a major £10m+ improvement drive. Contracts span fire protection, heating system replacements, water compliance, and building upgrades. The £7.49m award to Milestone South East alone covers 13,000+ buildings, while a £947k refurbishment will transform St Pancras Lodge into a youth support hub.
Cardiff Council-
Cardiff is restoring its civic heart with a £6.7m investment in City Hall upgrades as part of a wider £28m plan. The council also approved procurement for vacant home repairs and new sprinkler systems in high-rises, putting heritage, housing reuse, and safety firmly on the agenda.
Cheltenham Borough Council-
Cheltenham is reinforcing flood resilience by awarding culvert wingwall repairs to Amelio Utilities Ltd Located at Warden Hill Allotments, the structural fix follows an open tender and ensures proper water flow management and ongoing protection of a critical green community space.
Colchester Borough Council-
Colchester is safeguarding its essential parking infrastructure with a £469,000 investment. Structure Care Ltd has been appointed to carry out urgent repairs and maintenance across multi-storey car parks ensuring public safety and asset longevity in one of the town’s busiest urban zones.
Greenwich London Borough-
Greenwich is going big with £56m awarded across four firms for major housing repairs. Further plans include £4m for fire door installations, a £133k inclusive refurbishment of Yew Tree Lodge, and a new contractor to enforce high-rise building safety under the Building Safety Act.
Havering London Borough-
Havering has appointed Calfordseaden LLP to lead consultancy on the £5m Highfield Towers refurbishment. Under a £410,784 contract, the firm will oversee cladding replacement, fire safety upgrades, and structural improvements revamping one of the borough’s key housing towers under the CHIC framework.
Hull City Council-
Hull is boosting public space safety with a £57k lighting upgrade for Sculcoates Park and car park, funded by the Stepney High Street Accelerator. In parallel, Latis & Stuart Ltd secured a £28k-a-year PAT testing contract to ensure electrical safety across council-run buildings.
Liverpool City Council-
Liverpool is investing in safer, more efficient schools. Two contracts totaling over £330k were awarded to The James Mercer Group for boiler and pipework replacements at Banks Road and Pinehurst Primary. These critical upgrades ensure reliable services for pupils and future-proof education infrastructure.

South Kesteven is enhancing housing compliance with a £150k contract awarded to Morgan Lambert for gas and electrical audits. Spanning three years with extension options, this deal ensures residents’ homes meet safety standards through rigorous inspections across the council’s housing stock.
Waverley Borough Council-
Waverley is acting fast on health compliance. It awarded Full Circle Compliance a £24k asbestos survey contract across 280 homes and approved an extra £1.07m for Legionella upgrades. These measures bring the borough’s housing in line with national safety standards.
