Delivering one of the largest repair frameworks of 2025, Dacorum Borough Council has appointed Cardo (South) to a £457.5m Responsive Repairs, Cyclical Maintenance and General Build Services contract in East Anglia. Over a 60-month term, the partnership will cover preventative maintenance, void refurbishments, fire safety, disabled adaptations, customer call handling, and social housing development works — forming a comprehensive long-term delivery model designed to enhance efficiency and resident satisfaction.

In the South East, Guildford Borough Council has commissioned C.L.C. Contractors on a £4m Responsive Repairs Contract to maintain and improve housing stock over 12 months, ensuring fast, high-quality repairs across its estate. Red Kite Community Housing continues to invest in property upkeep through a trio of Aids & Adaptations, Drainage and Locksmith Services contracts in High Wycombe. Valued at £1.05m each, the works were awarded to Kabaku General Services for Security and CCR Property Services for Drainage, while the Adaptations lot was not awarded.

Across the North West, ALPHA Living has engaged Paint Tech Decorating on a £71.7k Communal Decoration contract covering multiple sheltered housing schemes from Sheffield to Telford, including interior painting and wallpapering works scheduled through early 2026. Notting Hill Genesis has appointed Clear Safety Services under a £1m Heat and Energy Team Consultancy Call-off to deliver gas safety and energy compliance audits across its housing portfolio in East Anglia and Greater London.

Maintaining secure access across multiple regions, Orbit Group has selected Baydale Control Systems for a £750k Door Entry, Access and Security Servicing & Maintenance contract spanning the East, South, and Midlands regions. South Tyneside Council has engaged Expert Fire Solutions on a £140k Portable Fire Equipment Servicing agreement over 36 months, ensuring full compliance and safety across its public buildings and housing stock.

In Wales, Swansea Council has awarded Mouldex a £67.7k Positive Input Ventilation Installation contract to improve indoor air quality and reduce condensation-related issues in properties at Fforesthall, Penlan, and Sketty. Driving sustainability, Staffordshire County Council has appointed Severn Trent Green Power Group for a £300k Food Waste Collection and Disposal contract over 24 months, delivering anaerobic digestion treatment for domestic and trade waste to support net-zero waste goals.

Similarly, Golding Homes has partnered with Elliott Environmental Drainage on a £144k Sewage Plant Maintenance contract for routine inspection, cleaning, and emergency response across housing schemes in Greater London and the South East. Delivering local regeneration, St Albans City Council has selected Helix Construct for a £1.99m Residential New-Build project at Abbots Avenue West, comprising four new three-bed social housing units to boost affordable housing supply.

Enhancing housing safety in the capital, Islington Council has appointed C&R Building Solutions, Griffin Scaffolding, John McGuinness Roofing Contractors, and Lura Construction to a £2.36m Roofing Repairs and Maintenance Works (with Provision of Scaffolding) contract. Over a 24-month term, the appointed suppliers will support in-house teams in delivering responsive roofing maintenance, scaffolding, abseil access, and safety inspections across council properties.
