Marking a significant procurement milestone, Procurement Assist Ltd has awarded a £1.04bn Property Services Framework Agreement spanning 48 months to a consortium of suppliers including Axis Europe, Chase Services Group, ZAM FM, and others. The framework covers a comprehensive range of property services across the UK, including void management, property security, responsive repairs, asbestos surveys, electrical services, water hygiene, and waste management. It is accessible to NHS Trusts, social housing providers, local authorities, and other public sector bodies. Further expanding the supplier portfolio, it has also launched a £575m Cyclical Maintenance Framework, running for 48 months and awarded to contractors such as AD Construction Group, Axis Europe, and Mitie Property Services. Covering lift maintenance, grounds services, fire consultancy, and gas servicing, this UK-wide framework will support cyclical property maintenance for housing providers, councils, and public authorities.
Ramping up compliance operations, Citizen has appointed Sureserve Compliance Northwest on a £57.9m, 60-month Home Health Safety Check contract across 30,000 properties in the West Midlands. The agreement includes annual gas servicing, EICR electrical testing, responsive repairs, asset data collection, and coordinated compliance checks under a Term Partnering Contract, driving service efficiency and tenant satisfaction. Expanding its electrical safety programme, The Guinness Partnership has directly awarded a £39.78m, 72-month Fixed Wire Testing contract to The Wiggett Group via the ProcurePublic Framework. The contract spans all regions of England and includes PAT testing, lightning conductor maintenance, and installation works across the housing provider’s portfolio.
Reinforcing responsive repair capacity, Islington London Borough has named four contractors – Herts Heritage Building & Roofing, JOS Property Services, Komfort Services, and Polyteck Building Services, to a £4.6m, 24-month General Build Repairs Framework. Designed to support peak workloads, the framework enables multidisciplinary repairs for over 35,000 properties across Greater London, including plumbing, carpentry, damp treatment, and emergency services. Tackling decarbonisation in private housing, Broadland District Council has awarded a 36-month, £4.05m contract to Aran Insulation for retrofit energy efficiency works. Delivered under the EN:Procure framework, the project will upgrade eligible Norfolk homes with cavity wall insulation, low-carbon heating systems, ventilation, and other energy-saving measures as part of the Warm Homes Local Grant scheme.
Enhancing drainage infrastructure, Southway Housing Trust (Manchester) Ltd. has appointed Draincare Manchester for a £572k, 24-month drainage repair services contract. Focused on their 6,500 properties in South Manchester, the contract ensures timely and expert resolution of drainage issues across the housing portfolio. Driving forward retrofit planning, Flagship Housing Ltd has launched a £463k Retrofit Surveyors & Assessors Framework awarded to Ordinate Solutions, PDEA and DEA Services for a 24-month term. The initiative supports energy efficiency and housing decarbonisation efforts across East Anglia with optional extensions available.
Concluding the recent awards, Broxtowe Borough Council has secured European Asbestos Services for a £400k, 24-month asbestos removal contract. Procured via Nottinghamshire County Council through the EEM0024 framework, the contract covers both domestic and commercial properties throughout the borough.
