Unfolding a transformative land partnership, Lewisham London Borough has awarded a £25m contract to Kitewood Estates for a 39-month development under the Building for Lewisham (BfL) programme. The Willow Way site, designated as a Locally Significant Industrial Site, will deliver around 175 genuinely affordable homes along with revitalised employment space over a 6–10 year delivery period. Tackling fire risk head-on, VIVID has appointed Lawtech Group to lead a £7.5m remedial programme over 26 months at Pemberley Place, Basingstoke. The project involves replacing combustible cladding materials with Euroclass A2-rated non-combustibles and remediating wider fire safety issues based on FRAEW reports and further investigations.

Reinforcing mechanical reliability, Antrim & Newtownabbey Borough Council has awarded a £6m, 24-month framework for mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, and smoke vent services to firms: Precision Mechanical Contractors, H & J Martin, Greenview Group, Source Air Conditioning & Electrical Services, and WJM Building Services. Covering 105+ properties – including civic buildings, leisure centres, and heritage sites, the contract was split into three specialist lots. Expanding on specialist cleaning needs, the council has also selected Finaghy Cleaning & Support Services for a £1.5m contract spanning 36 months. The project involves borough-wide power washing and cleaning works, with the option to extend based on performance. Focusing on water safety, it has awarded a £1m, 36-month Legionella management contract to Graham Asset Management. Services include Legionella risk assessments, control schemes, and ongoing monitoring across council-operated sites.

Advancing fire safety installation, Hightown Housing Association has issued a 24-month call-off contract worth £900k to Gerda Security Products. The work falls under the Procurement for Housing Fire Safety Works Framework for national fire door supply and fit services. Breaking ground on social housing, Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council has engaged GS Kelsey Construction for a £236k call-off project lasting 7 months. The scheme covers 31 new homes across Netherfield Court and York Road, ranging from semi-detached houses to flats, procured via the Efficiency North New Build Framework. Strengthening compliance and building safety, Telford and Wrekin Council has awarded a £9.175m, 46-month contract to Eyton Solutions for annual fire risk assessments.
