Addressing critical building health issues, Vico Homes has selected LD Environmental Solutions to deliver Damp Proof Remediation Works across Wakefield in a contract worth £9.43m over 36 months. The wide-ranging scope includes chemical damp proofing, timber and plasterboard replacement, and membrane tanking. The contract also mandates PCA-certified surveyors and outlines potential 12-month extensions based on performance.

Progressing with targeted development plans, Derby City Council has contracted Mercer Building Solutions to construct 36 bungalows on Blackmore Street, Derby, under an 18-month, £6.77m agreement. The project supports Derby’s commitment to increasing accessible housing stock. Innovating rent collection strategies, Torus has partnered with Voicescape to deploy a Rent Analytics Software Solution. This 36-month, £603k contract leverages machine learning to assess arrears risk, automate contact, and integrate with the QL housing management system.
