Driving quality, safety, and security across Greater London, Greenwich London Borough has awarded two major contracts totalling £35.6m to enhance housing conditions and protect communities. A £32m, 48-month agreement with Axis Europe, Gilmartins, Purdy Contracts, and T Brown Group will deliver major and responsive repairs, void refurbishments, drainage works, kitchen and bathroom upgrades, and fire safety remedials in partnership with the Royal Greenwich Direct Labour Organisation, with capacity for out-of-hours and emergency repairs. Complementing these improvements, a £3.6m, 48-month contract with J Tomlinson Ltd will provide the supply, installation, and maintenance of advanced door entry systems, CCTV, and concierge services—bolstering security, reducing crime risk, and ensuring modern, reliable access control for residents.

Driving housing modernisation in East England, Cambridge City Council has awarded a £7.5m, 60-month contract to Foster Property Maintenance for responsive repairs and voids works across its housing portfolio. The contract covers general repairs, void refurbishments, and maintenance support, aimed at sustaining the quality, safety, and comfort of council-managed homes while reducing downtime between tenancies.

Delivering energy-efficient upgrades across the North West, Wythenshawe Community Housing Group has invested £2.5m with Sustainable Building Services (UK) for an 11-month Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund project. The works include external wall insulation, roofing, electrical upgrades, façade improvements, and replacement of windows and external doors, significantly enhancing energy performance and tenant comfort while reducing carbon emissions.

Advancing estate regeneration in the South East, Golding Homes has awarded a £12m, 36-month contract to Jenner (Contractors) Ltd for the redevelopment of The Square, Lenham. Expanding affordable housing in the East Midlands, Nottingham Community Housing Association has engaged GEDA Construction under a £5.3m, 20-month contract to construct new homes at St John’s Grange.
