Driving forward essential property services, Viewpoint Housing Association Ltd. has awarded a £6.5m contract to R3 Repairs for a 36-month Responsive and Void Property Repairs and Minor Planned Maintenance Works contract, extendable up to 2029. This comprehensive agreement covers multi-trade services including joinery, plumbing, electrical, plastering, painting, tiling, and emergency repairs across its housing stock, ensuring high-quality maintenance and operational readiness year-round. Strengthening housing infrastructure, Linthouse Housing Association Ltd. has selected Bell Group and MP Group UK for a £4.5m, 24-month Repairs & Maintenance and Void Framework. The scope spans reactive and emergency repairs, cyclical maintenance, and minor adaptations, with the option to extend the contract for two additional years.
Promoting trade specialisation, Cathcart & District Housing Association Ltd. has launched a £1.095m, 24-month framework involving 24 suppliers across four dedicated lots – multi-trade works, joinery, plumbing, and electrical. This contract targets tailored delivery of key housing services including voids, emergency repairs, kitchen and bathroom renewals, and statutory compliance programmes such as EICR.
Upgrading site infrastructure, Stirling Council has commissioned FES to deliver the Forthside Electrical Infrastructure project under a 6-month call-off valued at £708k. The work involves installing electrical systems via an Independent Connection Provider to support the council’s development objectives. Ensuring fire safety compliance, City of London has appointed Sureserve Fire & Electrical on a £634k, 24-month call-off contract under Fusion21’s Building Safety & Compliance Framework. The contractor will manage the inspection, servicing, and maintenance of fire safety systems in line with up-to-date risk assessments and statutory standards.
Addressing urgent repair needs, Plymouth Community Homes has awarded a 36-month Reactive Roofing contract to Clegg and Shortman Asphalt Co, valued at £799k. This deal covers reactive maintenance across its housing stock, with an optional extension for a fourth year based on performance and service continuity.
