Bringing forward an important upgrade, Scottish Borders Housing Association has awarded a £2.62m contract over 36 months to Sidey Solutions and Walker Profiles for the Provision of Supply & Fit of Lifecycle Doors. This contract will see the replacement of external doors across SBHA’s properties, ensuring long-term durability, energy efficiency, and enhanced housing stock security.
Strengthening turnaround capacity, Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council has confirmed a £1m award to Impart Links for Various – Voids – Building Works. Running for five months, the contract covers a wide scope of works including small demolition, internal and external construction, kitchens, bathrooms, and mechanical & electrical services, aimed at swiftly preparing properties for new tenants in the West Midlands.
Setting a major benchmark, Swindon Borough Council has launched a £25.77m framework spanning 48 months for the Provision of Ad-Hoc Repair Works. Awarded to various contractors such as Abbey Electrical (Swindon) UK, Penshurst Construction, and others, the framework covers 11 lots across diverse categories such as electrical, gas, roofing, drainage, and general repairs, servicing 10,500 tenanted homes across the South West.
Focusing on safety compliance, Luton Borough Council has awarded a £1.42m contract to Ventro Group for Fire Compartmentation Works to Wenlock Court. Scheduled over five months, the project delivers crucial fire safety upgrades in line with national compliance standards, reinforcing building integrity and tenant protection in East Anglia.
Continuing its commitment to security, Nottingham City Council has confirmed a £1m award to Defensor Maintenance for Fire & Intruder Alarms Planned Maintenance & Repairs (CPU 5568). This 48-month contract covers servicing, maintaining, and installing alarm systems, with full 24/7 reactive and remedial support across the authority’s housing stock in the East Midlands, strengthening resilience against safety risks.
Completing the round, VIVID has awarded a £950k contract to ABCA Systems under Fire Protection – Lot 8 (Call-off) from the Fusion21 Building Safety and Compliance Framework. Running for 12 months across the South East and South West, the works deliver passive fire protection measures to ensure compliance and safeguard housing assets.
