Empowering progress in housing infrastructure, Thirteen Group has awarded RE:GEN North East a £5.1 million contract for full property works to 148 flats under its Central Mews scheme. The project, spanning 15 months, covers rewires, kitchens, bathrooms, roofing, and landscaping — marking a significant boost for residents and supply-chain partners in the North East.

Further strengthening the region’s housing quality, Thirteen Group has also appointed Esh Construction to deliver component replacements worth £0.77 million across 113 properties. The six-month programme includes boiler, kitchen, and window replacements, ensuring long-term asset resilience and compliance with modern standards.

Driving safety and efficiency, Folkestone & Hythe District Council has signed a £6 million, 36-month deal with T Brown Group for comprehensive gas servicing and maintenance. The contract covers servicing, responsive repairs, and heating upgrades across its stock, promoting resident safety and energy efficiency.

In Wales, housing association Adra has awarded Metro Rod a £0.8 million, two-year contract for the provision of drainage services, following open-tender competition under the Procurement Act 2023. Ensuring electrical safety, Nuneaton and Bedworth Community Enterprises Ltd appointed Gap Property Services (Leicester) for a £8.75 million, 36-month framework. Works include electrical testing, repairs, and void property maintenance across NBBC’s housing portfolio.

Championing fire protection, Torus established a £4.17 million, 48-month framework with BDL Fire Protection, Bell Group, Fieldway Supplies, and Frank Rogers to carry out passive fire and compartmentation works across more than 1,300 blocks.

In lift modernisation, Citizen Housing launched a £3.2 million, four-year framework with Second City Lifts and Jackson Lift Services for groupwide installation and maintenance. Curo also awarded Classic Lifts a £0.62 million, 47-month servicing contract, while GreenSquareAccord selected Cotswold Lifts for a £0.44 million, 12-month replacement project across multiple sites.

Safety upgrades continue, with Thirteen Group investing £31k through Baydale Control Systems for CCTV improvements across its North East portfolio. Amplius (Legacy GUHG) has rolled out a £3.85 million, three-year multi-lot framework for cleaning and pest-control services, appointing Clean Green Cleaning Services, Rigford, and John O’Conner (Grounds Maintenance) to handle cleaning, waste management, and pest control across housing estates in the East Midlands, West Midlands, and East Anglia.

Expanding sustainability, Lisburn and Castlereagh City Council awarded R Heatrick a £0.46 million, five-year contract for the collection, transportation, and recycling of wood waste from local recycling centres.

On the new-build front, LiveWest Homes Ltd appointed Classic Builders to deliver the £17.75 million Cranbrook Extra Care Scheme, a 27-month development supporting later-life housing in the South East. Similarly, VIVID awarded Amiri Construction a £15 million, 24-month contract for the Chapel Hill residential development in Basingstoke, including 73 new homes and full landscaping.

In infrastructure maintenance, Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council selected Integral Concrete Solutions for a £0.25 million, 36-month concrete repair programme, and Gentoo Group Ltd confirmed RE:GEN Solutions for a £0.14 million, seven-month asbestos removal framework call-off.
