Over a 36-month period, Chas Berger will deliver annual Windows and Doors Replacement Works across approximately 150 properties, improving thermal efficiency and security. Simultaneously, United Living Property Services will carry out Kitchen and Bathroom Replacement Works, modernising internal living spaces in a matching number of homes each year to enhance resident comfort and meet long-term asset standards.

Marking a major sector-wide procurement, CHIC Limited has launched a substantial £400m Mechanical & Electrical Framework 2025–2029, awarding contracts to over 30 suppliers including Alternative Heat, BSW Heating, and Sureserve Energy Services UK. The four-year framework covers a comprehensive range of services from central heating system replacements to renewable technologies such as air source heat pumps, ensuring CHIC members can deliver energy-efficient solutions across refurbishment and new build programmes. Elevating outdoor living standards, Walsall Housing Group (WHG) Ltd. has commissioned Glendale Countryside for Communal Grounds Maintenance Services under a £17.17m contract lasting 96 months. The contract covers both routine and reactive grounds maintenance, contributing to improved communal environments across WHG’s housing estates.

On the environmental front, Derbyshire County Council has awarded Willshees Waste & Recycling a £1.2m, 24-month contract for the Reception and Treatment of Garden Waste. Covering multiple districts including Erewash, South Derbyshire, and Derbyshire Dales, the service supports the region’s kerbside green waste collection and recycling strategy. Finally, ensuring safe and well-maintained rural infrastructure, Angus Council selected 14 various suppliers covering different lots for a £980k contract to deliver Rural Grass Cutting and Verge Maintenance over a 36-month period. Serving both Angus and Perth & Kinross Councils, the works will preserve road safety and meet environmental obligations throughout key rural areas.
