Driving significant regeneration in the South West, Swindon Borough Council has awarded a £17.27m, 36-month contract to Cardo (Wales & West) and T.Gilmartin for the refurbishment and repair of vacant properties, covering everything from minor maintenance to full-scale renovations, thermal upgrades, electrical and heating works, fire safety improvements, and property adaptations across thousands of homes. Further strengthening building safety, the Council has also secured Adaston on a £3.36m, 36-month Fire Stopping Works contract to deliver essential fire safety remedial measures, including compartmentation, door upgrades, and compliance works borough-wide.
Elevating housing security in the South East, New Forest District Council has entrusted Paramount Window & Fascia with a £2.74m, 48-month single-supplier framework to supply and install external, fire, and communal entrance doors across council-owned residential stock.
Bolstering emergency response in Scotland, East Renfrewshire Council has appointed Property One under a £2.2m, 24-month MTC contract for 24/7 out-of-hours emergency repairs, covering all trades from locksmiths and glaziers to roofers, plumbers, and electricians.
In a targeted six-month upgrade initiative, Easthall Park Housing Association Ltd. has engaged Procast Building Contractors to deliver £826k worth of kitchen and bathroom replacements, installing 160 units to association standards.

Continuing housing modernisation, Broxtowe Borough Council has selected Nationwide Windows & Doors for a £1.45m, 24-month supply and installation contract covering windows, doors, and composite fire doors under the Efficiency East Midlands (EEM) framework.
At the national scale, Scotland Excel has rolled out a £70m, 36-month framework for the supply and delivery of construction materials to all 32 Scottish councils and partner authorities, with multiple suppliers providing electrical, timber, plumbing, heating, and building materials to support public sector projects.
