Unlocking new delivery partnerships in responsive maintenance, Salix Homes has awarded a £5.44m framework over 48 months for key works including general building, scaffolding, drainage, and damp/mould treatments. Successful contractors include Revive Property Services (UK), Proactive FM, Scaffx, Metro Rod, and Diamond Decorators UK – ensuring responsive repair and void property support across the North West. Setting strong foundations for drainage infrastructure, Sunderland City Council has established a £3.6m Drainage Investigation and Maintenance Framework, spanning 48 months in the North East. ARM Pipetek has been named as a framework supplier, with the council aiming to appoint a total of three contractors to carry out vital drainage surveys and maintenance activities within Sunderland’s boundaries.

Accelerating the renewable energy transition in social housing, Together Housing Group – working alongside the West Yorkshire Combined Authority – has awarded a £60m, 48-month framework for Solar PV and Battery Installations. The winning group of contractors includes Cocuun, Eclipse Energy North, Effective Home, Jackson Jackson and Sons, RPS Group, and Sureserve Energy Services UK. These works are set to benefit social landlords such as Yorkshire Housing, Vico Homes (formerly WDH), Leeds Federation Housing, and Connect Housing.

Upgrading resident security with modern access control, Chelmer Housing Partnership (CHP) has selected Alphatrack Systems for a £625k, 62-month contract covering responsive repairs and maintenance of door entry systems across East Anglia. The agreement includes a five-year term, with a potential two-year extension based on contractor performance. Overcoming disruption to ensure affordable housing delivery, Aster Group has issued a 17-month, £10.7m direct award to Clayewater Homes to take over the Totnes Transition Homes project at Clay Park, Dartington. This contract replaces a prior agreement with Acheson Construction, which was terminated due to insolvency. Under urgent procurement via the Procurement Act 2023, Clayewater will now mobilise quickly, retain subcontractors, and deliver 39 affordable homes on schedule.
