Powering up property maintenance, Hillcrest Homes has rolled out a £17.17m supply contract for electrical materials across Scotland. This call-off framework involves suppliers including Rexel UK, Edmundson Electrical, and City Electrical Factors, delivering essential materials to regions such as Aberdeen, Dundee, Edinburgh, and Fife over a 36-month term. Keeping heating systems running smoothly, Dundee City Council has selected Scan Building Services for a £442k contract covering the servicing, maintenance, and cleaning of boilers, CHP units, burners, and flues. The comprehensive 3-year deal ensures routine inspections and emergency repairs for residential and civic facilities across the council’s estate.

Securing resident safety, Redditch Borough Council awarded a £750k contract to Fieldway Supplies for the maintenance and servicing of fire safety equipment. Delivered under a JCT Measured Term framework, the 36-month agreement ensures compliance with rigorous fire safety standards throughout the council’s housing stock. Combating pests to protect communities, Great Places Housing Group has commissioned Orbis Protect for a 60-month pest control contract worth £750k. Covering properties across the North West, Yorkshire and the Humber, and East Midlands, this initiative aims to align health, safety, and environmental practices with long-term pest prevention strategies.

Building resilience across the Western Isles, Comhairle nan Eilean Siar has established a £3m Trades Framework Agreement for 2025–2029. Engaging a wide network of approved suppliers including G&A Barnie Group, Lewis Builders, and AB Electronics, the framework covers reactive repairs, planned works, and maintenance for critical systems—from boilers and lifts to access control and fire alarms, across public properties in the region. Each contractor was selected for meeting stringent accreditations under standards like Gas Safe, BAFE, and NICEIC, ensuring top-tier service delivery.
