Accelerating housing decarbonisation in Yorkshire, Yorkshire Housing Limited has awarded a £1.1m, 6-month contract to Live Manage Facilitate for retrofit delivery under the Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund Wave 3. The project covers loft, roof, cavity wall, and external wall insulation, as well as ventilation systems, air source heat pumps, solar PV, and energy efficiency measures. Works will be delivered across both void and occupied homes, ensuring sustainable upgrades that reduce energy costs and improve resident comfort.

Upgrading essential living spaces in the North West, Arawak Walton Housing Association has committed £66k over 7 months to K & LM Builders for the replacement and installation of kitchens in 12 properties. This targeted investment improves kitchen facilities to modern standards, enhancing daily living conditions for tenants across the housing portfolio. Strengthening electrical safety in the East Midlands, Derby City Council has entrusted Security and Fire Experts with a £450k, 24-month contract for electrical equipment supply and fixed wire testing services. With options for further extensions, the project ensures compliance with Public Contracts Regulations 2015, while securing safe and reliable electrical systems across council-owned properties.

Protecting vulnerable residents in Wales, Isle of Anglesey County Council has awarded Jones and Whitehead a £124k, 3-month contract for the installation of L1 fire alarm systems across four residential homes for the elderly. This initiative delivers advanced, addressable fire safety systems, safeguarding residents with modern, responsive fire protection. Investing in cleaner, safer estates in High Wycombe, Red Kite Community Housing has committed over £4.45m across three 36-month contracts to improve estate management services. Sasse (£2.1m) will deliver communal and external window cleaning alongside soft FM services, while Just Ask Estate Services (£2.1m) will provide skips, bulk waste collection, and fly-tipping clearance. In addition, TBS Hygiene (£144k) has been appointed to manage dog waste bin collection, maintenance, and repairs. Together, these contracts—with extension options up to five years—ensure high environmental standards, improved hygiene, and well-maintained community spaces for residents. Addressing health risks in the North East and Yorkshire, Beyond Housing has appointed Bell Group to a £500k, 12-month contract for investigation, diagnosis, and remediation of damp and mould issues. Delivered through the Fusion21 Building and Improvement Works Framework, the project provides targeted interventions to protect tenants’ health and prevent recurring property damage.

Delivering new housing in East Anglia, Castle Point Borough Council has selected Indecon Building for a £524k, 9-month contract to construct new homes at Carlton Drive, Hadleigh, Benfleet. This residential new-build scheme expands local housing provision and is tailored to meet modern living standards and community needs.

Clearing derelict housing safely in the North West, Anchor Hanover Group has awarded a £296k, 5-month demolition contract to S J Walchester. The scope includes asbestos removal, remediation of contaminated land, and demolition of fire-damaged structures at Park House, leaving a cleared and secure site for future development.

Revitalising housing in Wales, Swansea City and County Council has entrusted TW Group (South Wales) with a 9-month roofing and refurbishment contract. Covering tiled roof replacements on 20 flats at Beili Glas, the project also includes remedial works to gable walls, renewal of doors, windows, fascias, soffits, rainwater goods, and removal of chimneys—delivering safer, modernised housing stock.
