Powering the UK’s net-zero journey, Fusion21 Ltd has awarded a colossal £1.5bn Decarbonisation Framework contract to A. Connolly and Alternative Heat. Spanning 48 months, this nationwide initiative covers two lots: whole-house decarbonisation for domestic dwellings and energy-efficient upgrades for public and educational buildings. The scope includes insulation, renewable systems like solar PV and heat pumps, and full refurbishments—all aligned with PAS2035 and PAS2038 standards. Revitalising exteriors with precision, Newcastle City Council has appointed Trident Maintenance Services to deliver a £4.58m Painting Programme over 48 months. Focused on residential properties in the North East, this long-term initiative aims to enhance curb appeal, ensure weatherproofing, and maintain housing stock aesthetics.

Streamlining urgent repairs, Bell Group has secured a £648k contract from Cadder Housing Association Ltd. for responsive maintenance and emergency repair services across Scotland. Running for 36 months from June 2025, the deal covers multi-trade works including plumbing, electrical, glazing, pest control, and more, with a focus on timely and efficient void refurbishments and disability adaptations. Expanding regional regeneration, Prosper Procurement Ltd has rolled out a substantial £2bn Investment Works Framework. Awarded across several supplier groups including Buston & Maughan, Sunter, PHS Home Solutions, Zenith Mechanical Services, and more, this 24-month framework spans eight specialised lots covering roofing, plumbing and heating, kitchens, electrical, painting and decorating, windows and doors, damp and mould, and complete services across the North East, North West, and Yorkshire.

Lifting standards in accessibility, Manchester City Council has confirmed a £6.89m award under framework TC840 to multiple suppliers, including Handicare Accessibility and TK Access Solutions. The 24-month contract is divided into three lots: stair lifts, floor lifts, and ceiling hoists, delivering essential adaptations to improve independent living in homes across the North West. Equipping homes with quality interiors, Housing 21 has finalised a £4.8m call-off contract with Joinery and Timber Creations (65) under the NHMF FW0103 framework. Covering multiple regions including the Midlands, London, and the South West, the contract ensures timely supply of kitchens and accessories to support planned maintenance programmes in sheltered and retirement housing schemes.

Building homes for the future, Plymouth Community Homes has appointed Coyde Construction for the Clowance Street Development. This £1.27m project, scheduled over 31 months, will deliver five one-bedroom homes in the South West—contributing to affordable housing provision and urban regeneration in the area.
