Marking a significant planned maintenance programme, Replacement Wet Floor Showers – 683-AHL sees Alliance Homes appoint Churchfarm Maintenance under a £2.3m, 36-month contract covering wet floor shower replacements across its housing stock in North Somerset and neighbouring authorities including Bristol, South Gloucestershire and Bath & North East Somerset. The procurement supports responsive and planned bathroom adaptations.
Strengthening building compliance infrastructure, the Award of Contract The Boiler Plant Servicing, Gas Testing and Reactive Call out Service Contract has been awarded by Caerphilly County Borough Council to Gibson Specialist Technical Services under a £539k, 44-month contract. The agreement covers boiler plant servicing, gas testing and reactive maintenance across multiple council buildings.
Continuing asset investment across Somerset’s housing stock, Electric Heating replacement 2026/2027 has been awarded by Somerset Council to Churchfarm Maintenance under a £208k, 12-month contract. The programme focuses on the replacement of electric heating systems across residential properties.
Reinforcing electrical compliance works, Oxford City Council has appointed NKS Contracts (Central) to deliver the Electrical Rewires and Repairs Framework valued at £2m over 25 months. The framework covers two key lots including electrical rewiring programmes and responsive electrical repair works across council housing stock, forming part of a wider asset management strategy to ensure electrical safety compliance and improved infrastructure reliability within residential properties.
Supporting specialist building services maintenance, Castlehill Housing Association Ltd. has awarded Lift Maintenance, Servicing & Repair Works to Scotec Lifts under a 24-month contract covering 23 housing association sites. The contract includes routine servicing, maintenance and repair of passenger and stair lifts across residential buildings.
Advancing estate redevelopment works, North Devon Homes Ltd. has appointed Wring Group under the Demolition of 31 Dwellings at 1-35 Mariners Close contract valued at £309k over a three-month delivery period. The works include full demolition of residential structures, asbestos removal, site clearance and restoration works at Mariners Close in Braunton, supporting future regeneration opportunities on the cleared housing site.
Within the housing component supply chain, Nottingham City Council has awarded Supply of Kitchen Units – CPU 7895 (Call-off) to Raventree t/a Premiere Kitchens under a £100k, 24-month call-off contract through the Efficiency East Midlands (EEM) framework. The agreement covers the supply, survey and design of kitchen units to support planned kitchen replacement programmes across council housing properties.
Rounding out the day’s awards, Lancaster City Council has appointed Harrison Pitt Architects under the Property Team Consultancy contract valued at £205k. The appointment provides professional consultancy services to support the council’s property team in delivering asset management, refurbishment and development programmes across its wider property portfolio.
