Supporting safe and reliable heating provision in the North West, Calico Homes Ltd. has awarded Lancashire Gas Services a £195k, two-year planned and reactive gas maintenance contract, covering 24/7 callouts and compliance inspections across multiple housing schemes. In Northern Ireland, Choice Housing has awarded Michael Donaghy PD a £762k fire safety works contract at Ashley Lodge, covering fire door replacements, fire stopping, emergency lighting, and redecoration throughout the building to strengthen tenant safety and compliance. Meanwhile, Salford City Council has appointed Integrated Digital CCTV Systems to deliver CCTV installation, maintenance and repair services worth £75k over three years, supporting continuous public-space and estate monitoring across the city.

Focusing on environmental upkeep in Wales, ateb Group Ltd has entered dual awards with Roscoe Tree Services and One Stop Property Development, each securing a £492k, 36-month framework agreement for grounds maintenance services across West Wales. The contracts will cover grass cutting, landscaping, and estate management, ensuring consistent service standards across ateb’s housing portfolio.

Driving innovation in housing delivery, Staffordshire County Council has established a £45m, three-year Modern Methods of Construction (MMC) framework, appointing Fords of Blythe Bridge, R.A. Edwards & Partners, and G. Evans Services. The framework will enable efficient off-site and modular construction for new builds, refurbishments, and extensions across the West Midlands.

Further advancing housing development in the East Midlands, South Kesteven District Council has chosen Mercer Building Solutions for a £4.04m design-and-build project at Larch Close, Grantham, delivering 21 new homes with associated landscaping, drainage, and highways improvements under a 12-month contract. In Scotland, Harbour Homes has selected DCL Joinery and Contractors to deliver a £1m cladding refurbishment scheme at Graham Street, including full window and door replacement, render re-coating, and balcony damp-proofing works across 60 dwellings, ensuring durability and improved building performance.
