Discover the latest UK social housing contract awards covering renewable heating services, affordable housing development, access control maintenance, estate grounds services, scaffolding framework, and plumbing material supply across multiple housing providers and councils.
Launching with renewable energy services, Rooftop Housing Group has awarded a £1.5m contract to Low Carbon Exchange for the servicing, maintenance, repair, and installation of renewable heating systems across its housing stock in South Worcestershire and North Gloucestershire. The 36-month call-off contract was secured via direct award under the EEM0026 Heating & Hot Water Systems Framework.
Driving new development, Livv Housing Group has appointed Anwyl Construction Company on a £4.9m Development Works Contract at Priory Gardens, Burscough. The 19-month contract follows Livv’s successful Section 106 bid to deliver new affordable homes, awarded through a process initiated prior to the 2025 regulations. In access control servicing, it has also awarded Maintec a £384k contract under the Fusion21 Building Safety and Compliance Framework Lot 12. The 24-month agreement covers servicing and maintenance of electronic security systems, with options for extensions.
On estate management, Woven (formerly Habinteg Housing Association Ulster Ltd.) has awarded The Landscape Centre a £783k contract to provide grounds maintenance services across Northern Ireland. The 36-month contract includes grass cutting, hedge trimming, litter picking, tree maintenance, and hard landscaping. For scaffolding services, Dundee City Council has established a £3.4m framework for the Supply, Delivery & Installation of Scaffolding across two lots – scaffolding towers and full elevation scaffolding. The 48-month multi-supplier framework includes Mar Scaffolding (Scotland), Angus Scaffolding, Scotmitch Scaffold, IAS Dundee, Form Access, and Lyndon SGB.
Finally, in materials supply, Lincolnshire Housing Partnership (LHP) has awarded Turnbull and Company a £200k contract for the supply of heating and plumbing materials over a 12-month term for its Boston area housing stock.
