Delivering a major component replacement programme, believe housing has awarded Buston and Maughan a £9.64m contract over 47 months for kitchen, bathroom, and central heating works to around 500 homes. Procured via the Prosper Investment Works Framework, this call-off covers upgrades essential to maintaining Decent Homes Standards. Accelerating home delivery in East Anglia, Thrive Homes appointed Hill Partnerships for a £42.23m, 35-month new-build development of the Lyndhurst site. The land transfer agreement is conditional on Hill carrying out construction under exclusive rights. Undertaking extensive refurbishment and expansion, Wandsworth Council awarded Collinstown Construction a £24.44m, 3-month contract for a rear extension and full renovation of 9 Pentlow Street, including loft conversion and new landscaping.

Addressing specialist construction needs, West Lancashire Borough Council also appointed Dasco Construction for a £120k, 36-month asphalt works contract under Lot 4 of the Specialist Trade Framework. Tackling roofing upgrades, Housing 21 awarded Malins Roofing and Southern Counties Roofing respective contracts worth £224k and £155k for pitched roof tile replacements at three retirement schemes in East Anglia. Ensuring estate hygiene and functionality, Vico Homes (formerly WDH) appointed Hardall International, 48-month contract for bin chute and equipment servicing across multiple sites in Yorkshire and the East Midlands.

Providing responsive maintenance, West Lancashire Borough Council has made dual awards for plumbing works under Lot 6 of its Specialist Trade Framework to MAC Construction + Groundworks and Dracso Construction, each for over 36 months. The scope includes capital works, voids, disrepair, and damp/mould issues. Improving building access and safety, Glen Oaks Housing Association contracted VWS to deliver a £957k, 12-month programme of close door and door entry system replacements across 89 closes, with phased installation through to 2029. Maintaining water infrastructure, Chelmer Housing Partnership selected Willow Pumps for a £92k, 36-month servicing contract covering water booster pumps across residential blocks and office sites.

Supporting compliance with DSEAR standards, Wythenshawe Community Housing Group appointed Heating & Process Engineering Services a 3-month contract to install methane detectors, signage, and ventilation upgrades in high-risk areas. Ensuring ongoing safety and function in education housing, Shetland Islands Council awarded Robertson FM a £202k 36-month Hard FM contract covering mechanical, electrical, and fabric maintenance for Anderson High School Halls of Residence. Enhancing communal cleanliness, Leeds City Council engaged Stroma Specialist Access under a £148k 36-month agreement for window cleaning at 100 high-rise blocks, with options for two 24-month extensions.
