Taking a more technology-focused turn, Redditch Borough Council has appointed Baydale Control Systems under a £500k contract running for 24 months. This award, secured through the EEM00037 Framework, ensures ongoing maintenance of door access control and entry systems across properties in Redditch and Bromsgrove, enhancing tenant security and access management.
In a continued focus on health and compliance, Flagship Housing Ltd has selected Sureserve Compliance Water for a £735k contract over 60 months. The work includes water hygiene testing, servicing, and remedial works in domestic properties throughout the East of England, reinforcing the importance of water safety standards for residents. With a clear focus on expanding housing stock, Midlothian Council has awarded a £6.93m contract to Ogilvie Construction for the development of amenity housing at Newton Church Road in Danderhall, on the site of a former library and leisure centre. This 15-month project aims to deliver high-quality residential construction in alignment with community needs.
