Opening a new era of security infrastructure, Notting Hill Genesis has appointed a consortium of suppliers – including EA-RS Solutions, OpenView Security Solutions, RGE Services, ABCA Systems, and AJS, to deliver an extensive £180m Electronic Security Framework. Spanning 48 months and covering Greater London, East Anglia, and the South East, this framework encompasses reactive repairs, upgrades, and routine inspections of electronic security systems. The contract is structured as a single-lot opportunity and is open to use by other authorised partners beyond NHG itself. Expanding its commitment to estate-wide excellence, it has awarded a suite of cleaning and gardening contracts worth £35.2m over 48 months. Divided into 20 separate lots, these contracts span core geographic zones across Greater London and nearby counties. Leading contractors such as Just Ask Estate Services, Chequers Contract Services, Wetton Cleaning Services, and Pinnacle FM will deliver high-quality internal and external cleaning, grounds maintenance, biodiversity services, tree care, and caretaking support. The contracts emphasize community wellbeing and flexibility, with extensions possible up to eight years.
Delivering major energy-efficiency upgrades, Rykneld Homes has awarded a £10.5m contract to Sustainable Building Services (UK) for insulation and associated works under the SHDF programme. Procured through the Efficiency East Midlands (EEM0046) framework, this 36-month call-off agreement will support energy improvements across its housing stock, enhancing thermal efficiency and reducing carbon emissions in the East Midlands. Strengthening essential infrastructure, it has also engaged Metro Rod for drainage services through a 3-year, £1m contract. The agreement, initiated under the EEM0011 Drainage Framework, ensures responsive and planned drainage maintenance across its East Midlands estate, with options for two one-year extensions to support continuity and service flexibility.
