UK Social Housing Contract Awards – Legionella, Damp & Mould, Cleaning, Surfacing, Roofing, and Refurbishment Contracts Secured Nationwide

Addressing roofing needs, Amplius has secured a £3.12m Provision of Repair and Replacement Roofing Works contract with Warkton Roofing Co. Running for 24 months across the South East, the framework from CHIC Planned Works covers large-scale roof renewals and replacements across housing estates. Completing essential upgrades, Hightown Housing Association has appointed CWG Group to a £231k Main Roof Replacement at Steppingstone Place. Delivered over 4 months across East Anglia and the South East, the project follows Bauder specifications to ensure long-term housing asset resilience.

Meeting strict compliance requirements, Regenda Group has awarded a £510k Water Hygiene and Legionella Treatment contract to Total Environmental Compliance. Running for 60 months across the North West, the call-off from the Procurement Hub DPS will see the supplier deliver monitoring and maintenance of identified water systems, ensuring full regulatory compliance and tenant safety.

Tackling damp challenges, Runnymede Borough Council has appointed Bell Group to a £500k Damp and Mould Works contract. Operating over 60 months in the South East, the comprehensive remediation programme includes passive and mechanical ventilation, mould treatment, anti-fungal paint applications, and internal wall insulation, supported by independent surveys. Consolidating facilities services, South Norfolk District Council has awarded Mr Brights a £192k Cleaning Services contract. Spanning 36 months in East Anglia, the framework covers office cleaning and temporary accommodation cleaning, ensuring improved service quality and cost efficiency across residential and commercial assets.

Expanding its service provision, Broadland District Council has also appointed Mr Brights to a £196k Cleaning Services contract. Running concurrently for 36 months, the award covers the same dual-lot structure, streamlining cleaning operations across council-owned properties and enhancing long-term resilience. Strengthening water safety in East Anglia, Ipswich Borough Council has awarded Nemco Utilities a £125k Water Hygiene – Assessment, Inspection, Servicing and Monitoring contract. Over 24 months, the supplier will undertake routine testing, monitoring, and servicing to ensure compliance and safe operation of water systems within specified council buildings.

Improving infrastructure, Dragonfly Management (Bolsover) Ltd has procured Johnson Surfacing for a £625k Provision of Surfacing Works contract. Running for 24 months across the East Midlands, the award will deliver surfacing improvements across Bolsover District Council’s network, supporting local transport and housing access routes. Delivering external upgrades, VIVID has appointed Initial Systems for a £575k Dawsmere Close External Works contract. This 2-month programme in the South East will focus on rebuilding defective roadways, parking, and external storage facilities at the Camberley development.

Reinforcing housing structures, Amplius has let a £239k Provision of Repairs to External Concrete Balcony Walkways, Stairs and Associated Works contract to Cemplas Waterproofing & Concrete Repairs. Running for 2 months across multiple regions, the framework covers targeted repairs to concrete structures in housing estates. Supporting fabric renewal in Scotland, Spire View Housing Association has appointed W H Kirkwood to a £200k External Panel Replacements contract. Spanning 4 months, the project will replace around 300 panels across 5 closes, improving durability and safety within the housing stock.

Restoring a fire-damaged property, Orbit Group Ltd. has awarded Aspect Group Services a £92k Refurbishment and Repair Works contract at 364 Hall Road. Delivered over 2 months in East Anglia, the call-off under Orbit’s DPS covers structural repairs, refurbishment, and upgrades to bring the property back to a lettable standard.
