Affordable housing development continues nationwide: Coastline Housing Ltd has awarded EBC Partnerships a £5.13m Penventon Phase 3 contract for 26 new affordable homes in the South West, while Kingdom Housing Association partners with Ogilvie Homes for a £2.86m Acquisition of Affordable Housing (Dunipace, Falkirk Phase 2) scheme in Scotland. In East Anglia, East Suffolk Council selected H Smith & Sons (Honingham) for a £1.78m Halesworth Road Dwellings build, and The Crown Estate awarded Hawkes Building a £132k Refurbishment of Gorhambury – New Jeromes Cottage.

East Sussex County Council has appointed PH Beck for Milton Grange Window Replacement Phase 1, a £141k project over 2 months, marking the first stage of a window renewal programme in the South East.

North Tyneside Council continues to upgrade its housing portfolio through multiple mini-competition awards — appointing Trident Maintenance Services for the Internal Painting of Communal Blocks (£67k), Bell Decorating Group for Sycamore House Kitchen & Bathroom Improvements (£51k), ORG Developments for Battle Hill Estate Joinery Works (£41k), and Isoler for Boroughwide Fire Door Replacements (£68k). Collectively, these projects strengthen housing safety and modernisation efforts across the North East.

In Wales, Swansea City and County Council has awarded Ashi Group a detailed £146k scheme for the Removal, Disposal & Renewal of UPVC Windows and Composite Doors at West Cross Phase 7, including insulation and weatherproofing upgrades. The council also appointed Green Acres Solutions for £78k landscaping works at Brondeg House, further enhancing estate environments.

Southampton City Council progresses its renewable energy strategy through a £1.4m Solar PV Repairs and Maintenance call-off to Ecosafe Heating, ensuring long-term performance and efficiency of solar installations citywide. Wolverhampton Homes has launched a major £8.25m Grounds Maintenance and Arboriculture Services contract with Krinkels UK, delivering grass cutting, hedge maintenance, and landscaping across housing estates for the next 6 years.

MSV Housing has appointed multiple specialists — including Dwelling Doctors, Bell Group, Allerton Damp Proofing, Jamieson Contracting, AB Building & Electrical, Hartley Property Services, Diamond Decorators, and GME Painting Contractors — under its Disrepair, Damp & Mould Framework (Lots 22 & 24), valued at £500k, ensuring safer, healthier homes across the North West and Yorkshire. Staffordshire County Council has established a £8m Fencing Framework with Dawkes & Co, Midlands Building & Maintenance, and Boundary Fencing and Gate Services, covering installations and repairs for local authority and school properties.

Meanwhile, Homes England has engaged ATV Contract Services for £87k Long Grass Cut Phase 2 at Northstowe to mitigate fire risks through specialist landscaping management. Finally, Leeds City Council continues its housing investment programme with Houston Group of Companies, delivering £1.75m in Year 1 Roofing Works across Yorkshire.
