Leading today’s opportunities, Repairs & Capital Framework from Places for People Group is a £74.4m framework procurement opportunity supporting responsive repairs, capital component replacement and planned maintenance across its national housing stock. The framework comprises 39 regional and specialist lots covering building works, roofing, drainage and scaffolding/access services, alongside accommodation assets. 

Expanding its contractor base, Bield Housing Association Ltd. has launched two Dynamic Purchasing Systems. Dynamic Purchasing System for Investment 2026 – 2031(36) is valued at £50.4m and runs for an initial 5 years with an optional 5-year extension, covering retrofit, Net Zero works, property refurbishment, fire remedial works, commercial heating, accessibility adaptations and digital innovation. Alongside this, Dynamic Purchasing System for Repairs and Maintenance 2026 – 31(36) is worth £48.2m and covers civils, drainage, heating, electrical services, roofing, construction works, fire and insurance works, damp remediation, fencing, cleaning and multi-trade maintenance across housing stock.

Providing planned maintenance opportunities, Cyclical Decoration 2027 – 2034 from Gentoo Group Ltd. is an £8.4m procurement opportunity for a 7-year cyclical decoration contract delivering internal and external decoration to occupied and void homes, supporting planned maintenance programmes across its housing stock.

Supporting planned investment, Provision of Supply & Fit of Lifecycle Gas Heating Systems from Scottish Borders Housing Association is valued at £6.6m, with a 2+2+1-year contract covering planned gas heating replacements across housing stock through two delivery lots.

Strengthening future compliance programmes, Southern Housing has launched two preliminary market engagement exercises. Preparing for future compliance delivery, Electrical Measured Term Contract – HAR6063 from Tower Hamlets London Borough is valued at £2.2m for an initial 2-year contract with two optional one-year extensions. The procurement covers electrical repairs, servicing, testing, maintenance and installation works across council buildings through a forthcoming measured term contract.

Improving housing safety, Communal Area Rewire to HRA Flat Blocks from Ipswich Borough Council is a £900k, 9-month contract to rewire communal electrical installations serving 103 HRA residential blocks following condition surveys, ensuring continued electrical compliance across ageing housing assets.

Targeting major public sector construction delivery, Regional Construction Works and Services Framework – SCP015 from Scape Group is a £1.2bn multi-party framework covering four English regions. The framework will appoint three suppliers per lot to deliver construction works and associated services through regional call-off contracts, supporting collaborative public sector building programmes with commissions of up to £15m.

Launching a collaborative procurement, Liability Insurance 2027 – 2032 from Sutton London Borough is valued at £6.8m for a proposed 5-year joint insurance contract with Merton and Kingston councils, with supplier engagement scheduled ahead of the formal procurement.

Supporting future maintenance operations, Materials Supply from Yorkshire Housing Limited represents a £25.0m procurement opportunity for building materials, plumbing and mechanical supplies, and electrical materials supporting approximately 20,000 homes across Yorkshire through a future multi-lot managed materials contract.
