A strong pipeline of repairs, compliance, asset maintenance and regeneration procurement opportunities is driving today’s social housing market, with housing associations and public sector bodies advancing frameworks, maintenance contracts and specialist works to strengthen housing stock and public assets.

Opening today’s opportunities, R&M and Voids Framework from Key Housing Association Ltd is a £2.5m framework procurement opportunity covering multi-trade and single-trade responsive repairs, voids maintenance, cyclical servicing and planned component replacement across the Highlands of Scotland. The framework includes out-of-hours 24/7 services, electrical compliance, smoke detector servicing, adaptations, kitchen and bathroom renewals, roofing, drainage and specialist trade works, commencing in October 2026 with appointments across multiple regional lots.

Continuing the focus on compliance, Gas Servicing and Maintenance from The Pioneer Group is a £2.9m contract covering an initial five-year term, with extension options to a potential nine years. The contract includes annual gas servicing, responsive repairs and maintenance across approximately 2,500 homes, alongside a small number of commercial heating systems and unvented cylinders. The procurement opportunity supports long-term gas safety compliance and housing stock maintenance.

Looking ahead to future procurement, Lifts Framework from South East Consortium signals a forthcoming framework for passenger lift servicing, maintenance, repairs and installations for housing providers.

Turning to electrical compliance, In-Service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment from Renfrewshire Council is a 36-month contract covering inspection, testing, verification and reporting of electrical equipment across council properties including schools, offices, care homes and civic buildings. The contract includes extension options up to five years and supports statutory compliance across a diverse public estate.

Supporting regeneration activity, Demolition & Enabling Works Framework from Notting Hill Genesis is a £50m framework designed to appoint specialist contractors for demolition and enabling works supporting new housing developments and regeneration programmes. The framework provides an early procurement opportunity for contractors specialising in site preparation and redevelopment works.

Meanwhile, Provision of High-Level Works from Amplius represents a £33.3m preliminary market engagement ahead of a future procurement for high-level works. Suppliers are invited to help shape specifications, contract conditions and KPIs through market engagement, providing early visibility into a significant forthcoming framework opportunity for the housing sector.

Rounding off today’s activity, Extension and Alterations from Grwp Cynefin is a £80k contract for extension and adaptation works to a residential property, delivering improved living accommodation to meet tenant requirements. The procurement opportunity covers building alterations and accessibility improvements, with tenders closing in August 2026.
