The project includes removing existing equipment and installing energy-efficient boilers, pipework and controls, together with commissioning, electrical upgrades, LED lighting and plant-room decoration. The supplied tenure is one month, while the description estimates a six-week programme.

Maintaining life-safety systems, L&Q Group’s PIN – Servicing & Maintenance of Active Fire Assets – Questionnaire is valued at £2.22m over 60 months. The proposed contract covers planned servicing, reactive and emergency attendance, out-of-hours support and remedial works across active fire-safety systems within L&Q’s North West housing portfolio.

The appointed supplier will provide planned preventative and reactive lift maintenance across properties in the North East, North West and Yorkshire and the Humber.

Testing electrical equipment across council premises, Wigan Metropolitan Borough Council’s Portable Appliance Testing contract is valued at £150k over 24 months. The below-threshold competition is reserved for suppliers with a substantive operational presence within Wigan Borough.

Safeguarding access to roof-level social housing, Herefordshire Council’s Provision of Building Fabric Improvements at Gomond Street is valued at £100k over six months. The works at Maylord Orchards include replacing damaged stairwell glazing, installing a smoke vent linked to the fire alarm and raising sections of terrace balustrading to meet current safety requirements.

Preparing a future external-works opportunity, Newcastle City Council’s PIN – Supply and Fit of Timber Fencing is expected to run for 24 months, with its value undisclosed. The pipeline notice confirms that the Council intends to procure external support for the supply and installation of timber fencing, with further information to follow in a Tender Notice.

Providing specialist property advice, VIVID’s Provision of Structural Engineering Consultancy Services is valued at £1m over 36 months. The appointed consultant or consultants will undertake urgent and routine structural assessments across VIVID’s housing portfolio on an as-required basis.

Exploring new approaches to housing supply, Comhairle nan Eilean Siar (Western Isles Council)’s Feasibility Study and Development of Pilot Scheme – Uist Repopulation Zone is valued at £10k over 52 months. The commission will assess and develop a pilot scheme for converting short-term lets into long-term homes within the Uist repopulation zone.
