Our daily Contracts update brings together the latest tenders, contract awards, pipelines and procurement activity from across social housing and the public sector, helping you identify opportunities, track market movements and stay ahead of the competition.

Social housing procurement activity spans planned maintenance, kitchens and bathrooms, lifts, renewable energy, regeneration and affordable housing development, creating a broad pipeline of opportunities for contractors and specialist suppliers.

A major planned maintenance opportunity is emerging through External Planned Maintenance, with Town & Country Housing seeking a sole provider for an £6m, eight-year contract covering its housing stock across the South East, particularly Tunbridge Wells and Epsom. The programme includes cyclical repairs and decorations, window replacements, roof repairs, external building fabric, communal areas, drainage, paving and boundary works.

Housing investment is also progressing through Loreburn Housing Association’s Framework Agreement for Design, Supply & Installation of Kitchens (Lot 1) and Bathrooms (Lot 2) & Associated Works 2026 to 2030. The framework covers social housing kitchen replacements, bathroom and wet-floor upgrades, electrical showers, extraction, lighting and associated multi-trade works.

Lift compliance and maintenance remain active with Access Lift Installation, Servicing and Maintenance, where City of York Council is seeking a contractor for a £3.6m contract covering access lift installation, servicing and maintenance. The procurement supports ongoing accessibility, compliance and asset management across the Council’s housing-related lift infrastructure.

Specialist lift investment is also planned through Riverside’s Lift Refurbishment and Replacements – Keel Court, Green Dragon Court, Fairlead House and Bordeaux House, valued at £1m. The four-lot social housing contract covers lift refurbishment and replacement across four London sites, with works required to run concurrently following award.

Renewable energy investment continues with Arbour Housing’s Design, Supply, Installation and Integration of Solar Photovoltaic Systems to 150 Properties Across NI (Re-tender), a £750k procurement opportunity covering 150 domestic social housing properties across Portadown, Lurgan, Banbridge, Newry, Lisburn, Hilden and Belfast.

Large-scale regeneration is being advanced through Camden London Borough Council’s PIN – Redevelopment of the Wendling Estate and St Stephens Close, representing a £500m gross development value opportunity. The Council is exploring a joint venture partner to deliver around 650-750 new mixed-tenure homes, alongside replacement community facilities and wider estate improvements.

Affordable housing delivery is central to Wirral Council’s Development Opportunity: Seaview Road – Site of former Liscard Municipal Buildings and Adjacent Carpark, with an estimated £20m gross development value. The Council seeks a development partner to deliver at least 93, and potentially around 100, new affordable rented homes on the brownfield site.

Housing refurbishment and decarbonisation combine in West Berkshire Council’s Chestnut Walk, Hungerford, Refurbishment Project, valued at £1.5m. The contract will refurbish a derelict former Old Persons Home into short-term emergency homeless accommodation, including air source heat pumps, solar PV, external works and incoming mains renewal.

Door replacement and supply opportunities are represented by Hillcrest Homes Door Supply – Brodie & Kellie Court, covering the manufacture, supply and delivery of 213 high-performance timber composite doors for its housing stock. Deliveries scheduled to commence in January and continue fortnightly through the project period.
